What have you been up to since you graduated?

I taught for 25 years in Oklahoma and 13 years in Texas.

In 2013 I retired and moved back to Oklahoma to be close to my dad and sons.

I’m a cancer survivor! First colon cancer and then breast cancer…

Of all the places you’ve lived, which one still holds a piece of your heart — and why?

Alicante Spain

We weren’t on an Air Base. Alicante was about 200 miles south of Madrid on the East Coast. Our dads were assigned to build a radar station. I loved the language and culture of Spain!
