Linda Jayne Kelly, beloved Heidelberg High School graduate, passed away on June 22, 2016.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Linda was the daughter of Geraldine Louise Louer Gamble and William Dean Gamble, both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, William M. Loughlin of Annapolis, Maryland; her son, John Gentille of Charlotte, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Tristan, Isabella, Noah, and Savannah; her brother, Mark Gamble, his wife Barb, and their children, Dean and Emily. She is also survived by her stepson, Stephen Loughlin, his wife Colleen, and their daughter Molly.

As the daughter of a military officer, Linda experienced the challenges of frequent moves, but her warm smile, generous spirit, and outgoing personality enabled her to make lifelong friends wherever she lived. She was proud of her Heidelberg High School years and enjoyed attending class reunions throughout her life.

Linda earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from George Mason University, where she was a founding member and vice president of the Chi Kappa Chapter of Chi Omega. She was recognized in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities and served as captain of the university cheerleading squad.

Linda built a successful career in the custom home and real estate industry, earning numerous awards for excellence in sales and marketing. She loved traveling, spending time with family and friends, and caring for her beloved Jack Russell terriers.

Those who knew Linda remember her kindness, compassion, generosity, infectious smile, and wonderful sense of humor. She loved to laugh, tell stories, and bring people together. Her friendship and spirit touched many lives and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
