Elaine "Judy" Daughtery Daw

Elaine “Judy” Daughtery Daw passed away on October 29, 2014, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, at the age of 74. Born in West Virginia, Judy was a proud "Army brat" who traveled extensively throughout her life. She enjoyed a long career as a paralegal and later spent many years traveling the country with her husband, John.

Judy attended Mannheim American High School in Germany, graduating with the Class of 1958. After many years apart, she famously reconnected with and married her high school classmate, John H. Daw. She is fondly remembered by fellow Brats for her adventurous spirit and the deep pride she took in her family, including her 12 grandchildren who affectionately knew her as "Crazy Grandma."

A dedicated member of the Overseas Brats community since 1991, Judy remained a cherished part of our network for over two decades.
