Joan Addy Carillo

Joan Addy Carillo passed away in 2011 in West Palm Beach, Florida, at the age of 78. A woman of many talents, she is remembered for her warmth and the deep connections she maintained throughout her life with her fellow overseas alumni.

Joan attended both Frankfurt High School and Nurnberg High School in Germany, graduating with the Class of 1951. As part of the pioneering generation of students in post-WWII occupied Germany, she is fondly remembered by fellow Brats who shared those foundational overseas experiences.

A long-standing member of the Overseas Brats community since 1989, Joan remained a proud and dedicated part of our network for over 22 years.
